The MadCat H.S. Anderson/Hohner Telecaster, made famous by Prince, is a model of electric guitar designed in the early 1970s and made by a japanese factory called Morris. H.S. Anderson later sold the rights to Hohner in Germany and continued to make them in Japan but with the Hohner Logo.
The Hohner has been used by Prince and can be heard on many recordings. All his early albums from "For You" to "Prince", "Dirty Mind", "Controversy", "1999" and "Purple Rain" where (mostly) recorded with the Telecaster !
The purpose of this web site is to collect information about the Mad Cat guitars.
